今秋10月に店舗にて、展示会「裂のほとりⅫ －受け継がれてゆく古裂たち－」（仮題）を開催させていただく予定です。

今展では、魅力的な仕覆裂、表具裂、ぐい呑みなどの酒器の袋や包み裂に向く縞・格子裂、単色無地裂、染織の美しさが凝縮されている断片裂など、糸と色彩に深い味わいを持つ古裂の世界を、熱を込めてご紹介させていただきたいと思います。人の手と心によって、長い間大切に伝えられてきたひとひらの染織品が、これからも先の時代へ灯るように受け継がれてゆきますよう、そのことを心から願う開催としたいと思っております。
今展に関しましては、もう少し先になりましたら内容と詳細をお知らせいたします。皆様に古裂の魅力をお愉しみいただけますよう、準備してまいります。どうぞこの秋のお出かけに、ご予定いただけましたら幸いです。

－Autumn Exhibition Notice－
This fall, in October, we plan to hold the “Kire no Hotori Ⅻ－Kogire being Passed Down for Generations”(tentative title) at our shop. The dates are currently schedule from October 24th to 26th (Friday to Sunday).
At this exhibition, we will be introducing attractive fabrics that can be used for Shifuku and Hyogu, as well as for a pouch for sake vessels and a fabric used to wrap the vessels. We would like to introduce you to the profound beauty of the world of threads and colors that Kogire brings. This exhibition will be held with a sincere hope that these tasteful old dyed and woven textiles that have been cherished by people’s hands and hearts for many years will be passed down to future generations. We will inform you of the more details at a later date. Please stay tuned.
