今年も間もなく暮れゆきます。
この一年もいろいろとお世話になりまして、心よりありがとうございました。

毎号楽しみな表紙絵は、新たな年をことほぎ、『銀座百点』にお熨斗が掛けられているようなデザインです。手に取り思わす「ステキ」と呟いてしまいました。
凍てつく寒さの大晦日の夜、一〇八回目の除夜の鐘が鳴り終えると新年を迎えます。過ぎし日の一年を振り返り、新たな年に思いを馳せる、そんな深夜零時の時刻です。暗い夜が明ければきっと晴天。昇る朝日に柏手を打ち、新たな年を迎えられたことに感謝するのです。
来る年が穏やかな一年となりますように。皆様のご健康とご多幸を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

Ginza Hyakuten magazine is currently running an ad about our shop in January 2026 issue. This magazine is published on the 1st of each month and is distributed free of charge at the stores of the members of the Ginza Hyakutenkai. If you have a chance to come to Ginza, please feel free to take a look when you find one at one of the stores.
The cover of the magazine that we look forward to every issue, this month’s has a design to celebrate the new year, with noshi paper wrapped around the Ginza Hyakuten magazine. I picked it up and couldn’t help but talk to myself “how lovely!”. On a freezing cold night of New Year’s eve, a new year arrives after the 108 ringings of the joya bells. It’s that time of midnight when we look back on the past year and think about the new one. Once the dark night ends, the weather will hopefully be clear. I pray by clapping my hands to the rising sun and show my gratitude for the arrival of the new year. I hope the coming year will be a peaceful one. We wish you all good health and happiness.

師走の公園
師走も後半に向かいます。
先日の【特集の日】－クリスマスによせて2025－ では、御来店下さいました皆様、Instagram、Webサイトをご覧くださいました皆様、心よりありがとうございました。師走というお忙しい時でしたが、早いお時間からお待ち下さる方など、二日間多くの方に御来店いただき、楽しいひとときを過ごさせていただきました。お客様とルーペで織組織を確認したり、ごく小さな断片裂の愉しみ方をお話させていただいたり、クリスマスらしい明るい色彩の店内で、特集の古裂たちをご紹介させていただきました。「クリスマスによせて、によせて、赤いセーターを着てきました。」と、渋い色合いの素敵な赤色のセーターをお召しでお越し下さったお客様もいらっしゃり、とても嬉しく、その場が盛り上がりました。
クリスマスに因んだ色彩の古裂を集めて行なうこの特集は、昨年に続いて今回で二回目です。来年も行なえるかどうか? 行えましたら楽しいですね。
暦を見ると、冬至も間近となりました。
今年を振り返りますと、五月に【特集の日】－糸味の古裂と小品－、七月に【特集の日】－浅葱色とグレイの階調－、十月に展示会 裂のほとりⅫ －受け継がれてゆく古裂たち－、十二月に【特集の日】－クリスマスによせて 2025－、を行うことができました。どの催しも店舗にて三日間の期間ですが、ラストのクリスマス企画だけ、初めて二日間とさせていただきました。短い期間でもお問合せを頂いたりし、お客様に催しの情報がお届けできていることが伝わってまいり、そうした時には心に小さな花がぽっと咲くようなというのか、楽しみにして下さっている方がいらっしゃるということがほんとうに有り難く、裂の準備作業にまた、いそいそと戻るのです。
焦点を当てて行ってみたいことがいろいろとあります。自分の持つ裂への視点を、ひとつでも形にしてお伝えすることができればと思います。来年もまた、ささやかな蓮の店を訪れていただけましたら幸いです。

師走の表紙は、赤と緑のクリスマスカラーのクラシック・カーです。 車のどこかにもみの木の枝で作ったリースを掛けてあげたら、きっとお似合いだと思います。今年ももうこの季節。クリスマスがやってきます。
クリスマスといえば、やはり子供の頃の記憶が甦ります。父はお花屋さんから小さいもみの木を買ってきてくれ、そこにモールでできたサンタクロースやろうそくを飾りました。昭和だったあの頃の思い出は、今も私の心を温かく照らしてくれています。

The December cover features a classic car in Christmas color of red and green. I think it would look nicer with a Christmas wreath on this car. Time flies, already this time of the year again. Christmas is coming. Speaking of Christmas, this season always brings back my childhood memories. My father would buy a small fir tree from a florist and decorate it with Santa Claus and candles made of pipe cleaner. The good old memories of those Showa era days still warm my heart.
